St. Innocent Cathedral in Anchorage
gets new wood floor.

October 7, 2004

The parishioners of St. Innocent are all pitching in to install the new wood floor for the Cathedral in time for the 10th Anniversary celebration. The carpet has been ripped out and the new floor is being installed by the hard work and dedication of the parishioners. This, along with the Icon screen which has been stained and new Icons written for it, is beautifully transforming the Cathedral.

A fine team of experts rolling it up!

Looking towards the Pokrov Chapel, a clever maneuver enabled the carpet to be pulled out from under the Cathedra without moving it!

Clean up from a very productive evning!

After removing the blue carpet from the entry way a fine coating of ash was uncovered from the Mt. Spur eruption in 1992.
