His Grace, Bishop NIKOLAI accompanied by His Diocesan Chancellor made a 10 day pilgrimage in the Ukrainian Chernovsty-Bucovian Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

A major highlight of the visit to the Chernovitski Diocese was a visit to the Orphanage in Molnitsa where children, nearly 40 boys and 30 girls (including two children with HIV), greeted Metropolitan ONUFRII and Vladkya NIKOLAI. The orphans, cared for by local nuns who come in rotation, were all happy and clean. The orphanize smelled like a home and not an institution. This is an example of some of the great work being done for the people by the church in Russia.
