A most joyous weekend is celebrated in Anchorage, Alaska. It begins with the Matushka retreat which takes place at Camp Birchwood, giving the Matushki a time to "get away from it all" and enjoy a time of spiritual reflection and togetherness. It continues with Vigil Saturday night at St. Innocent Cathedral, where the Feast of the Great Marty George is celebrated by His Grace Bishop NIKOLAI and clergy. Sunday brings even more joy as Protodeacon Daniel Charles is ordained to the Priesthood and given the rank of Archpriest. It concludes with the joyous celebration of His Grace Bishop NIKOLAI's Family Slava.
