The Wonderking Icon of the Sitka Mother of God
Returns to Alaska
St. Innocent Cathedral, Anchorage, AK
November 11, 2005
The Wonderworking Icon was scheduled to return on the evening of November 10 but, unknown to the Clergy accompanying her, she was not put on the plane and arrived unscheduled on the morning of November 11. She was returned to the Cathedral and greeted as soon as she arrived by His Grace Bishop NIKOLAI who served a Molieben in gratitude for her safe return. |
