Grand Opening and Blessing
of the New APIA Building
Anchorage, Alaska

His Grace Bishop NIKOLAI blessed the Aleutian Pribilof Island Association building in Anchorage on October 12, 2007. The ground was blessed last year, also by His Grace. APIA is the non-profit arm of the Aleut Corporation. The Diocese of Alaska has some thirty parishes in this region which is the Alaska Peninsula out on the Aleutian chain and Pribilof Islands.
The Grand Opening and Blessing was done during the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees and a presentation by Dimitri Philemonof, CEO and a member of the Church.
