The Great Entrance

The Cemetery at St. Nicholas Church in Eklutna
is famous for its collection of Spirit Houses.
The Spirit House is an Athabascan tradition,
placed on the grave of the departed after 40 days

with the sponge over the Antimens during
the Litany of the Catechumens

Deacon George touches the Paten
with each of the points of the Star
(making the sign of the Cross) during the Anaphora
"Singing the triumphant hymn, shouting, proclaiming
